Hacking Calls

+1 vote

Lately we have been seeing a large increase of what we are calling "ghost calls". This seems to be the end result of hacker’s port scanning known VOIP ports.

The caller ID will say "100" or "1000" and ring the phone constantly, usually at night, and when they pick it up there is no one there

Do you have any suggestion?

Thank You,

You will need to get a new Public IP address,

If you have DHCP all you have to do is reboot the Modem
